Who we are
devyce labs is a one-person studio based in Melbourne, Australia. This page covers what data we collect when you use this site, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
This site collects two kinds of information.
- Contact form submissions. When you submit the contact form we receive your name, email address, subject, and message. We use these only to reply to you.
- Standard server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic request data: IP address, timestamp, page requested, user agent. These logs are kept briefly for security and diagnostics, then discarded.
We do not run third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use it
Contact form submissions are forwarded to a personal inbox via Resend, an email delivery service. We reply directly. Your details are not added to a marketing list, sold, or shared with third parties.
Cloudflare Turnstile is used to protect the contact form from automated abuse. Turnstile may set a short-lived cookie to verify you are not a bot.
Where it is processed
Hosting is provided by Cloudflare. Email is delivered via Resend. Both providers operate global infrastructure and may process data outside Australia. We selected providers with established privacy practices.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages are retained in the recipient inbox for as long as needed to respond and follow up. If you want a message deleted, ask and we will remove it.
Server-side request logs are retained briefly under the hosting provider's default retention policy (typically up to a few weeks) and then discarded automatically.
Cookies
This site does not set tracking or analytics cookies. The only cookies that may be set are short-lived ones from Cloudflare Turnstile when the contact form loads, used to verify you are not a bot.
Your rights
Under Australian privacy law you can:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Request a copy of that information
- Ask us to correct or delete it
